why are you driving in to the garage...

as i pulled in last night with C... he asked... why are you driving in to the garage... how to explain that this is what a garage is for...

B has no memory of the car in the garage... we'll see how long it lasts... it would be nice to park there in the winter months...

so just in case i captured the moment so you all could see that i finally got the car in the garage...

there are no before and after shots here... they are too shameful...

just the car in the garage...

That is too funny! And yes, don't you wanat to park in the garage on cold, wet, or rainy days!! My husband claims that he built our garage with no intention of cars parking in there. Seriously? So, I cleared me a spot and I park in there for weather reasons AND so the nosy neighbor has no idea whether i'm home or not! Good job getting the car in there!

That's funny! People always tell us, 'we stopped by but you weren't home' and we were. 'but we didn't see your car!' Well we're one of the few that actually put both our cars in the garage. Everyday. Since we've lived here (12 years). 'Where's all your stuff?' It's all INSIDE the house! OH!

Success...definitely a success!

Friends came to our house and siad they were surprised that we fit our cars int he garage, and I wondered what else we would do with it!

Oh Marla! You are too funny. And yes, yes, if you have as much snow as we do, parking inside in the winter really is worth it! :)

Funny funny post!

Fits perfectly!! Looks so lovley and tidy I hope it stays that way for a long time!

If it was my house it would be a mess in minutes!

How nice to use the garage for its intended purpose!
It looks right at home there.
Are you sure you can't share the before photos?

That's so funny, my car in the garage is a MUST, but I live in Minnesota too - it snows for like 10 months out of the year.

Love the pic...

This is great. I hope you're able to keep in parked in there during the winter.

We're making our wish list in case we can go house hunting soon, and we put a double garage, so that at least one car would fit inside! We have so much stuff out in our garage that the only thing that can park in there are the bikes.

You've shamed me into clearing out our barn. Thanks for that!

Also, thanks for stopping by New Zealand on the BATW tour.

I'd hate to leave you confused about the trash. So here goes:

If you live in town you buy bags and just leave the bags outside your house and the council collects. It must be council bags though. They also collect stuff for recycling.

If you live in the country, like we do. There is no collection so bags, council or otherwise, left outside your house will not go down well with the neighbours! We used to have to load them in the car and drive 20 minutes. We've just got a wheely bin service so we just throw the trash in there, haul it to the gate and then as if by magic it gets emptied and then I just haul it back and start filling it up again!

Life is never simple!

I can barely fit our garbage can in our garage...forget about an actual vehicle!
Good for you!
